Kentucky fared even worse, checking in as the 42nd-most fun state, or ninth-most boring. Click here for the full rankings.

The Columbus police and fire departments are running out of overtime budget to cover his visits , but it's his hometown. The site labels Indianapolis, Carmel and Anderson, Ind.
Indiana can almost claim Illinois' most boring city, Danville. Its borders hug the state line near I Facebook Twitter Email. This is Indiana's most boring city, says Business Insider. Joe Tamborello IndyStar. It would require them to have a mind bending and mind blowing experience that would make them actually realize that there is more than living somewhere with cornfields and wheatfields and soybeans or tipping cows or sneaking into the barn at night to find their next lover.
Usually some of them actually end up being eye candy in their late teens and twenties but by the time they hit 30 or so they often end up being fat bar hags that run around without makeup and wear sweatpants going to the grocery store or the local Wally Mart.
You can always tell that the teams suck when no one is going to the games because they find more joy in racing crap cars in some small town demo derby or chewing their tobacco or getting plastered every weekend after work. His talking about the state not the people and most definitely not insulting anyone.
You are the only stupid fucking retard insulting with moronic words. Probably because they dnt know better and they dnt have nothing to teach you. I live in Indiana and everything he said is true. I am leaving here within a month and this time i wont come back. Yeah I moved here from Michigan for a job and I regret it more than anything. There is literally nothing to do…. And people are so weird and seem disconnected socially.
This place is utter trash. I went downtown with friends from home 3 different times and all it was was country music and boring bullshit.
Fuck Indiana. The parks are bland in most of Indiana unless its maybe Indiana Dunes which is only tolerable in the spring, summer and fall. Forget about freezing your ass off there in the winter. Brown County State Park is a hidden gem in South Central Indiana but its also bubba country as is most of the rest of the state once you get out of the cities. Crappy country music, rednecks in pickup trucks, lousy bars and a bunch of hyper aggressive smart ass hicks trying to prove their a man.
If you took the big name of Canada off of a world wall map the average Hoosier also known in St. No wonder this place went largely for Donald Trump because of the vast majority of small minded inbred hicks and its a shame what these people have done to this state over the years.
Indiana really could be a top state considering its location albeit small on the Great Lakes, plentiful rainfall and decent weather at least between March and late October before winter hits. Tom Petty is not from Indiana. He was born in Gainesville Florida!!!
Get your facts straight!!!! All in all, Indiana is just the state of perpetual road construction and gray skies. This place is a dump. A toilet. The worst state I have ever lived in, and I regret moving here. No wonder this state is full of fat ass retards!
Those that want to make this state home are usually bound to jobs that pay to keep them, or college until they get a degree that offers them a ticket out, or transplants from Kentucky to fill the countless warehouses and trucking industries. Hands down the absolute most stupid people I have ever encountered on a whole! Being bored is the least of your problems living in Indiana.
Do yourself a favor and leave as soon as possible. Life is short. Dude… you read my mind. This place is a god damn joke. The population is like a racist religious cult. Moving back before winter hits sorry baby lol. Legit Indiana is a conservative, Trump humping backwards state. I will say Bloomington was alright, but holy hell Evansville was full of complete morons.
I left legit this month and moved to Orlando. Better jobs, hell of alot more culture, nicer people. And less meth. You are so correct about Evansville. One problem is that basically Evansville and SW Indiana up until you get 50 miles north of the Ohio River might as well be a subset of Kentucky which is even worse as a place to live than Indiana.
I had the unfortunate experience of taking a job transfer down to Kentucky many years ago and got stuck there during the Great Recession back about to and then I went back north but should have went to some other location east, west, south wherever.
Kentucky makes Indiana actually look good because its one of about 10 states that are economic and educational bottom feeders in the United States. Mississippi West Virginia Arkansas Kentucky Louisiana Alabama Tennessee That and having some family still in this area of Indiana is the only real reason I moved back and I was tired of the Louisville Shittucky scene which was more crime and worse than Indiana when it came to having bumbling dumbasses all over society.
Sure, Bloomington does have a decent sort of middle class and upper class with educated people but most of the rest of the state wants to be in the s with the same bumpkin mentality issues its always had. Can confirm. Olive near Evansville. The whole city is a shit dump. Try not to use the word fuck on your next Job interview when you move out of this state to your percieved paradise.
Rich, Your Hoosier brother is looking for you. Run along now and let the adults talk amongst themselves. The new mown hay, sends all its fragrance, through the fields I used to roam.. Because the only thing you care about is money and no body loves you except for your money lmao.
Before you was rich and had a lot of bank if you are really rich lol you was a meth head redneck bastard. Probably you are a pervert with money always dreaming about becoming a child molester one day. Check this out.. Guess which state is best. I fully agree. My parents moved back there when I was a little kid, and recently finally got out of that shit hole of a state. Indiana is so horrible that people in Bakersfield feel sorry for me because I love it there and amazing and wonderful place, but not really compared to the rest of California.
California has the highest poverty rate in the nation and the state is a liberal CRAZED Sanctuary Hellhole…Housing and taxes are outrageous and Forbes magazine just said Bakersfield has the dirtiest air in the nation. The state stays constantly in the news with a new natural disaster emergency every week..
No thank you. Amd dont forget the weather. Hot and very humid summers, bitter nasty cold winters, year round tornadoes, severe flooding, lots of snow and ice not tons of it but a lot , and very strong winds that are not accompanied with a tornado. Far Colder and Snowier than Indianapolis. Indiana is the fastest growing state of any that surround it and has been for 2 decades now..
Illinois and California are both completely bankrupt…Chicago and the major California cities are complete Sanctuary city hellholes. They depend on the federal government and the conservative ran states money to help keep them running. People are fleeing Chicago faster than any city in U. Outrageous taxes, high crime, horrible schools.
Indiana has low taxes and far far lower housing costs than Illinois or California.. Hahaha, hilarious! I moved there from CA for 2 years to attend school and just hated living out there. The roads are very 3rd world. For myself personally I think hate or sucks is a strong word.
I just chalk it up to not being a good fit and not being meant for myself. What I can say is that I would be wise in doing my research about Indiana.
Most people that like it here either have grew up here or have family here. The only thing that is holding me here is finances and my rocky marriage. So, to add to my above posts. Again, from my experiences the people and my dealings with them have found them to unhappy, unethical, and sometimes downright mean compared to other places I have lived and visited thus far. One look will show that Indiana houses some of the unhappiest places in America which includes Gary, Anderson, and South Bend.
Are there good people here? The other is that some people have mentioned the cost of living is relatively low and sure that is true but, that comes at a sacrifice and it also depends on where you live. That sacrifice is generally lower wages across the board. From what I vaguely remember it was one of the last states to adopt laws regarding hate crimes and nepotism. Also, the cost of living factor depends on where you live.
Sure, you can live cheaply here but, it will be a crime area or economically depressed area. The last few things. Are there worse places? Sure, there are worse places these days. California and Illinois use to be meh or better than Indiana. One of the few reasons why Indiana is more appealing is because of the lower taxes and cost of living for now but, more people moving here for now due to those reasons.
Just understand a lot of people hype this state or at least in my opinion they do. Even Michigan is a nicer state geographically with nicer lakes or at least in my opinion. You know these things are worse in other states, right?
