There is alot of generic brand in the internet with different name but same style of stove, they all look alike and probably is made at the same factory in Korea or China, but with different name sticker on the stove. The Iwantani is really different from the rest, I did alot of reading before making my purchase.
The stove have a magnetic device that holds the butane canister in place, so you don't even have to push any external leverage to hold the butane canister like so many generic brands. The body look like it's made of stainless steel, but the butane canister cover look like it's made of aluminum. The fit and finish is excellent thats why I prefer made in Japan compared to other portable butane canister stove.
This stove is going to last a lifetime, I don't have to worry about it rusting. If 15, btu is too high to cook certain food, then I can always turn the dial down to a low simmer.
This stove will be used for emergency purpose like a storm and power outage, or when gas stove is required to cook certain food. I purchased this as a backup in case of power failure. Initially, I was nervous about purchasing a Butane Stove since I've never used one.
